Three Israelis killed in West Bank shooting

GUSH ETZION SETTLEMENT BLOC, West Bank - Three Israelis were killed and five wounded Sunday in a drive-by shooting at a hitch-hiking junction near a major West Bank settlement bloc, military sources said.

Security sources said that a Palestinian gunman had opened fire from a moving vehicle at a group of people waiting at the junction, which is close to the town of Bethlehem.

A large number of troops had been dispatched to the area in a bid to find the attackers.
