Bombs targeting Iraqi churches kill at least four
KIRKUK, Iraq, Jan 29 (Reuters) - Two car bombs targeting churches in the northern Iraqi city of Kirkuk killed at least four people on Sunday, a police official said.
Colonel Burham Taher said the blasts at two churches also wounded nine people.
In August, a wave of bomb attacks at churches killed 11 people.
Iraq's Christian community, which makes up about 3 percent of the population, has become increasingly nervous over violence and Islamic militant attacks on Christian-owned liquor shops.
