Largest 3-D oilfield seismographic bid kicks off
LONDON, January 2 (IranMania) - Call for tender on largest three dimensional seismographic data processing of the nation?s onshore oil and gas fields was held recently by National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), general director of the company?s Geophysics Office of Management Exploration Mojtaba Mohammad Khorasani stated, said MNA.
The project covers 3,200 square kilometers of Aghajari, Marun and Kopal fields and domestic companies as well as five reputable international firms have offered their bids so far, Khorasani said, adding that seismographic operations on Amak project would also be done along with processing the gathered three dimensional data.
Paradigm and Cad Cam, Iran?s Oil Exploration Operations and CGG, Iran Ofoq and Veritas, Well Services Iran and Western Jaco as well as PGP Iran Kish and GRI of China are the corresponding joint Iranian and foreign companies bid for this venture.
