Manual Instructs in Preparation and Use of Poisonous Gases

SITE Institute: A manual providing a basic description of the characteristics, preparation and use of ten “easily prepared and rapidly effecting” poisonous gases was recently distributed amongst several jihadist forums. Such gases include cyanogens chloride, hydrogen sulfide, mustard gas, carbon monoxide, and nerve gases, to which the author also provides their immediate effects; for example, cyanogens chloride is described as a “mask penetrator,” and hydrogen cyanide has almond-smelling and lighter than air, and “therefore must be used in closed places.”

Further, the author lists a series of requirements that these gases should meet “in order to be utilizable for war,” including: possible construction from “improvised materials,” not be easily spoiled by water, and have odorless and colorless properties.
