Danish organizations accused of espionage in Chechnya
MOSCOW (Interfax) - Employees of Danish humanitarian organizations have been involved in intelligence work on the territory of the Chechen republic, Acting Chechen Prime Minister Ramzan Kadyrov said.
"These organizations have never cooperated with the authorities. They have been collecting information, acting like intelligence officers. Chechnya did not profit from them," Kadyrov said in an interview published by the Kommersant-Vlast journal.
"Denmark has always supported terrorists, for example Akhmed Zakayev - a murderer and a kidnapper. According to my data, one of the people suspected of the attempted murder of Akhmat Kadyrov was funded from Denmark," Kadyrov said.
