German Al-Qaeda suspect arrested in Hamburg
A GERMAN citizen accused of being an Al-Qaeda agent was arrested in Hamburg on 8 July, Reuters reported.
The Moroccan-born man, identified as Redouane EH, 36, is accused of having ties to a suspected key 11 September 2001 attacks planner who fled Germany a week before the attacks. Said Bahaji is still at large. Hamburg was the city where Al-Qaeda planned the attacks. Redouane EH is also accused of recruiting Al-Qaeda suicide bombers in Iraq and having links to jihadists in Syria and Algeria.
