Saudi Arabia rejects Bush's 'Islamic fascists'

Saudi Arabia on Monday rejected remarks made four days ago by US President George W. Bush who said Washington was at war with "Islamic fascists."

The Saudi Cabinet in its weekly meeting "warned against labeling Muslims with accusations of terrorism and fascism and disregarding the history of the Muslim culture," according to a statement.

The Cabinet said terrorism was an international danger and confronting it would require concentrated international cooperation.

Bush made the comments Thursday when he was speaking about an alleged foiled plot to blow up US-bound passenger jets from Britain.
