Death toll in Turkish bomb blast rises to 11
DIYARBAKIR, Turkey, Sept 13 (Reuters) -The death toll in a bomb blast at a bus stop in the southeast Turkish city of Diyarbakir overnight had risen to 11, five of them children, police said on Wednesday.
On Tuesday, authorities put the death toll at seven.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack in the largest city in Turkey's troubled, mainly Kurdish southeast.
Hospitals were treating 13 people wounded in the explosion, which occurred on a main street next to a park.
