Pakistan-China troops conduct Joint Operations
RAWALPINDI: As part of ongoing Pak-China joint exercise "Friendship- 2006," an excellent display of joint operations was conducted on Thursday.
Pakistan Air Force, Army Aviation combat helicopters, troops from Pakistan and China Special Services participated in the exercise.
Both forces exercised special operations against isolated terrorists bases, using minor tactics, direct snap action, repelling from helicopters and some distance from the terrorists hideouts and ammunition storage and target area having been cordoned by the ground forces.
Earlier, troops from both sides presented an excellent and impressive martial arts and unarmed combat show.
Chinese martial art and Pakistani unarmed combat shows featured special tactics against terrorists. Number of male and female cadets from Pakistan Military Academy witnessed the exercise.
Senior officers of both armies appreciated the training, dedication and enthusiasm displayed by the participating troops.
