Moroccan arrested in Reus for alleged Islamic terrorist links
A Moroccan man has been arrested in Reus near Barcelona today for his alleged links to Islamic terrorism.
Mbark El Jaafari has also been issued with a detention order by the Moroccan Government because of his possible links to Al Qaeda and the GSOC combat group. This organisation dedicates itself to recruiting volunteers for the Jihad, and has also seen attacks against it by the authorities in both Germany and Morocco.
The arrested man is thought to have carried out some terrorist training exercises in Al Qaeda camps in Afghanistan in 2001 and will shortly appear before the National Court.
