India test-fires ballistic missile
India test-fired ballistic missile Dhanush from a warship in the Bay of Bengal on Wednesday, according to Indo-Asian News Service.
The missile, capable of carrying nuclear warheads, has a range of 250 kilometers, the report said.
The missile is the naval version of surface-to-surface Prithvi missile. Dhanush has been designed by India's Defense Research and Development Organization.
