BAGHDAD, Feb 8 (Reuters) - Gunmen opened fire on Wednesday on a group of Shi'ites peforming religious rituals in Baghdad, wounding six people, police said.
The attack took place in the capital's Shula district as hundreds of thousands of Shi'ites gathered in the southern city of Kerbala one day before the climax of the Ashura ritual, which was hit by suicide bombings in past years.
