Internet Cafe shoot-out kills 3 in Macedonian capital

A fierce gunbattle broke out at a crowded Internet Cafe in Macedonian capital Skopje, leaving at least three people dead and several others wounded, police said on Friday.

The bloodshed happened on Thursday night in an Albanian district of Skopje, where a gang of attackers plunged into the Internet bar with automatic guns and began to shoot, reports from local media said.

Several seriously wounded people were immediately sent to hospital after the incident, with three of them dead there, and the exact number of the hospitalized was not yet known.

The attackers' identities are yet to be disclosed, but police suspected that the shoot-out was a move of ethnic Albanian gangs to settle scores.
