ThalesRaytheonSystems boosts oil security for Mexican Navy

The new integrated security system from ThalesRaytheonSystems increases security in the Gulf of Mexico over oil installations.

Petrolos Mexicanos (PEMEX) is funding the program which is possibly to include up to 12 new Sukhoi Su-27 'Flanker' air superiority fighters from Rosoboronexport.

The new radar system is based on mobile and fixed 360˚-scanning AN/MPQ-64 Sentinel radars overseen by ThalesRaytheonSystems Sentry command-and-control network.
