Hizbollah tried to fire Iranian-made rocket at Israel
JERUSALEM, July 17 (Reuters) - Lebanese Hizbollah guerrillas attempted to fire an Iranian-made missile with a range of 100 km (60 miles) at Israel but the rocket malfunctioned and fell from the sky, Israel radio reported on Monday.
The radio station said the falling missile, described as a Zelzal, was the likely source of Lebanese reports that an Israeli aircraft had been hit and brought down over Lebanon. Israel earlier said those reports were false.
