One more arms shipment from Georgia delivered to Russia through Azerbaijan

One more echelon loaded with weapons, military supplies and equipment withdrawn from Russia’s 62nd military base in Akhalkalak, Georgia started off from Chalka railway station of Georgia at 9:00a.m today.

The 13-wagon echelon is loaded with 14 military equipment and 163 tonnes of military supplies and property.

Azerbaijan State Railway Company (ASR) told the APA according to the schedule, the echelon will arrive at Boyuk Kasik station of Azerbaijan at 18:00 today and will be delivered to Russian military men at Yalama station at 13:00 tomorrow.

As usual, the echelon is protected by military men from the 62nd base as well as Azerbaijani Interior Troops soldiers and military security group of the ASR.

Withdrawal of military supplies and equipment from the 62nd base to Russia through Azerbaijan has started since 15 March this year./APA/
