'Religious extremists' attack Pakistan girls' school
A GRENADE attack on a girls' school in Landikotal, Khyber, Pakistan, on 4 August was the work of "religious extremists", the school's director has told the Lahore-based Daily Times newspaper.
No one was in the school at the time of the attack. The building sustained minor damage.
The school, which lies close to the Afghan border, teaches developmental skills to local men and women.
