Three explosions at Shi'ite mosque in Baghdad
BAGHDAD, April 7 (Reuters) - Three blasts were heard at a Shi'ite mosque in Baghdad on Friday, witnesses said.
One witness said there were many wounded. The Shi'ite Muslim Forat Television station said three mortar bombs targeted the mosque which belongs to SCIRI, one of the parties in the dominant Shi'ite Alliance.
The blasts follow a car bombing near a sacred Shi'ite shrine in the southern city of Najaf on Thursday that killed at least 13 people.
