Lebanon TV broadcasts 'footage' of Israel pilot missing for 20 years

LEBANESE television has broadcast footage on 29 August of what it says is Israeli pilot Ron Arad, who has been missing since he was shot down over Lebanon in 1986, the BBC reported.

The Israeli government says it believes Arad is still alive. LBC TV has refused to divulge the origins of the film. Shia militia group Amal captured Arad after he bailed out of his aircraft in October 1986.
